Hello. I am Michail (or call me MiKY).

My passion is getting to the heart of what makes people tick—and helping to authentically express who they are and make connection. Today that might be either in the design studio or yoga studio—both on or off the yoga mat.

I am a lover of brands / strategic thinker / experienced brand designer / design director & yoga teacher / student.

I have worked on a diverse range of brands across the world—from start ups to rebrands, education to energy, events to health, cement to steel, world cup cricket to football, as an individual and as part of global teams.

I love art, travel, food, gym, health and wellness, the beach, yoga (obviously) and I have a passion for branding and design. Over 25 years I've gained experience in brand creation and development to create, grow and nurture new and existing brands. I'm always up for a challenge—I can think about the detail to the big picture—be hands on and also lead a team.

I lived in London for 9 years, where I worked with many brands and talented people in the UK, Europe, US and Asia. I relocated to Sydney in 2016 to be back in my home country— and today I am nestled in my hometown Brisbane.

I’m curious by nature, I love to talk, to listen, to dig and dig deeper, to collaborate, to play, to ponder, to explore—to ultimately deliver the best results for my clients.

I first found yoga in 2015. I was living the busy London life—working hard, travelling often, and enjoying life, in other words burning the candle from all directions. My first experience of yoga was with Chris Magee. I am so grateful for this moment as it really changed my life. Yoga helps me find balance in all aspects of my life. In 2021 I completed my RYT200H Yoga teacher training with Elements Studio. I am eternally grateful to all of my teachers, past present and future—special thanks to Chris Magee (London), my mentor Esther Wallace-Hill and Leanne Gerich, Danique Hanson, Carla Raleigh (Elements Studio, Brisbane).
